Since 1999, Diane Guercio has been helping others relax and de-stress through natural and holistic practices. What started as a passion for therapeutic massage has since evolved into an expertise in natural skincare, and after earning her associate’s degree in natural health, Diane opened her own practice, the Holistic Beauty Center in Maitland, where Diane is a registered esthetician and licensed massage therapist.
“When I need time for myself, I call Diane, where the atmosphere is relaxing,” says Marie W., one of Holistic Beauty Center’s many loyal clients. “The soft music and low lighting take me to another land. Diane knows just what my skin needs.”
Diane says her techniques can help clients achieve results similar to plastic surgery but with non-invasive, holistic measures that nourish the skin and body. The skincare line featured at Holistic Beauty Center, Lira Clinical Skin Care, is organic and natural, freeing the skin from parabens and other harmful toxins.
“I have experienced many facials in my lifetime, and Diane has to be one of the best,” says devoted client Mary. “She really takes time to make the atmosphere relaxing and then does her magic to make us all look younger. While her excellent products are doing their work, she takes the time to relax you even more by massaging your feet.”
“I want to give my clients a total body experience and show them what is possible without going to the plastic surgeon,” says Diane.
In addition to the comprehensive facials, which feature essential oils that help balance the energy of the body, Holistic Beauty Center offers light therapy, eyelash extensions, natural hair removal, and fingerprint analysis.
“No matter what you choose, Diane goes that extra mile to make you feel fantastic,” says Michelle A., another longtime client. “I’ve been getting my facials and eyebrows shaped by Diane for over 8 years, and people keep telling me that I look 10 years younger.”
“When you receive a facial by Diane, you walk out of her sanctuary feeling wonderful,” says Pam R. “It is more than just a facial, it’s an experience. She shares her love and expertise with you.”
Diane uses her methods to help heal the mind, as well. She works with a volunteer group in Orlando to guide trauma victims through their grief and sadness and show them how to prioritize self-care in the wake of tragedy. She is also educating healthcare providers on ways to integrate essential oils and energy redirection into their treatments, and Diane frequently holds workshops detailing how the brain, heart, and gut are connected through grief.
“It really is about beauty and balance for me,” she says.
