Something new is happening in the heart of Altamonte Springs. New memories are being made, new flavors are beingcreated, and a new standard is being set in Central Florida’s wedding, event, and catering industry. But it’s all happening at aplace that is not new at all. In fact, it’s a setting that will be comfortably familiar to anyone who calls Seminole County home. It’s the all new (in more ways than one) Maison & Jardin events center on Wymore Road. Now exclusively operated by FGFCatering Orlando, Maison & Jardin has been reborn after a complete revitalization of the facility and its idyllic five-acregrounds.

Since it opened in 1958, Maison & Jardin has been the area’s go-to venue for life’s special celebrations, from elegantweddings to private parties for all occasions. Today, Maison & Jardin is once again delighting those who desire elegance, service, and a personal touch to make their events a phenomenal success. The venue itself is hard to top, but with FGFCatering Orlando at the helm, the cuisine at Maison & Jardin is now the undisputed star of the show.

“We’re creating a culinary experience here that is like no other,” says Giovanni Bodenga, Maison & Jardin’s executive chef.“We don’t serve ‘banquet food.’ When your guests gather at our tables, they will feel like they’ve ordered their meals from themenus of the finest restaurants in the world. There is no culinary vision we cannot bring to life here. Spanish, Italian, Chinese,farm-to-table sustainable cuisine… We’re here to elevate people’s perception of what is possible when feeding a gathering of afew or a few hundred.”

The food emerging from the Maison & Jardin kitchen is so good, it literally can’t be contained in the 7,757-square-footAltamonte venue. Maison & Jardin also serves as the home kitchen for FGF Catering Orlando, the preferred caterer of the Dr.Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and a number of other luxury venues throughout Central Florida. FGF Catering Orlandocan transform the cuisine of any private event, wherever it might be held, and for those who choose Maison & Jardin as theirplace to celebrate, the catering conundrum has already been deliciously solved.

After experiencing an event at Maison & Jardin, it’s difficult to go to a wedding or other gathering at a hotel, let alone book onethere, but there’s one other advantage that puts Maison & Jardin leagues above the hospitality venues: the personal, impeccable service.

Chef Giovanni held his own wedding at Maison & Jardin in January. A perfectionist, he insisted on prepping all the foodhimself. After he and his new bride bid the grand farewell to the guests in the Maison & Jardin driveway, they drove around theblock and snuck into the back of the property to ensure that everything went smoothly for the rest of the evening. JohnWasman, director of operations, saw his own daughter married at Maison & Jardin. After one of the season’s three hurricanesripped right over Altamonte Springs in 2004, John also helped put on two weddings the very next day all with no power, about 100 flashlights, and only one generator, which was given to the DJ. The families involved still marvel at what the staff ofMaison & Jardin accomplished to make those magical weddings happen, weddings that any hotel would simply havecanceled.

“When it’s someone’s wedding, you do backflips to make everything perfect, and we apply that same level of service to all ourevents,” says Lee-Ann Dianni, regional VP of operations at Maison & Jardin.

There are many potential places to host your next bar/bat mitzvah, birthday party, anniversary celebration, retirement party, corporate event, or wedding, but there’s only one place that combines tradition, innovation, service, and elegance in a wayyou’ve never seen and will never forget.

Maison & Jardin is back. Prepare to be amazed.
