Often described as a baby bed and breakfast, Tree of Life Birth and Gynecology is now nationally accredited to provide Central Florida families pregnancy, birth, and post-natal services and support.

Led by experienced nurse practitioners and licensed midwives, the Tree of Life team ensures pregnant women and their families receive the support, education, and care required to achieve the safest, most natural outcomes in a comfortable, home-like environment.

“We recognize that pregnancy is not an illness, but disease does occur, which is why every woman deserves quality prenatal care,” says owner Kaleen Richards, CNM, ARNP. “Our goal is to ensure moms, families, and babies are consistently screened, educated, and supported throughout the birth process and into the fourth trimester. Patients who wish to avoid the cascade of interventions that often occur in traditional doctors’ offices and hospitals find a healthy, holistic alternative at Tree of Life.”

With locations in DeLand and College Park, Tree of Life serves local families seeking prenatal care, home births, hypnobirthing classes, lactation services, and more.

“Additionally, through our nonprofit Tree of Life Mission of Love, we are working diligently to improve maternal and infant mortality on a global scale by delivering compassionate midwifery care to communities in need in Haiti and underserved populations in Central Florida,” Kaleen explains. “We believe all women and babies deserve a healthy and safe pregnancy and delivery.”
