Winter Springs Roofing & Repair 2018

As Central Florida nears the peak of hurricane season, Bill Sumner and the team at Winter Springs Roofing & Repair are working overtime to restore faulty roofs to the level of perfection homeowners deserve.

“Once the rainy season kicks in, with its daily storms and severe weather, homeowners who think they’ve had quality work done to their roof start to discover weaknesses and even major failures,” Bill explains.

As roofing and insurance fraud continues to plague the state, many of Bill’s customers call upon him after they have fallen victim to unethical, post-storm practices that have cost them significant time and money.

“People sometimes get panicked when they need roofing work done,” says Bill. “They sign on with the lowest bidder or the company that can get the work done the fastest. But many times that rushed decision results in poor quality work that my team is then called upon to repair. Some of these storm chaser businesses have been flagged by insurance companies that won’t pay for their work. If your roof qualifies for repair, your insurance will cover it, so don’t get led down a shady path by poor practitioners.”

Dedicated to personalized service and outstanding quality, Bill encourages homeowners to avoid “cheap prices and cheap results” by hiring only legitimate, licensed roofers with a physical office, identifiable vehicles, and verifiable customer reviews.
“We have more than 30 years of success in Central Florida and not a single complaint with the Better Business Bureau,” says Bill. “My background is in residential new construction from the ‘80s and ‘90s. When we are called to estimate a re-roof today, it is often on those same roofs we installed more than 30 years ago. That’s a level of expertise that is unmatched in today’s industry of new business and storm chasers.”

“When Hurricane Irma passed, and we needed a new roof, Winter Springs Roofing was on my list of people to call,” says satisfied customer Lauren Kennedy. “Even with how busy they were after Hurricane Irma, they got back to me in a timely manner. Bill never pressured us into anything. He actually encouraged me to do my research. Bill kept us updated every step of the way. When it came time for our re-roof project to start, the crew was always on time, hardworking, and dedicated. I can definitely see why Bill has been in business so long. He only uses the best materials and crew – and you can tell!”
